The Phantoms wasted no time filling a vacancy  after the team learned that current Brass Star Andrew Erickson would not be able to play for the club in the team's inaugural season at Lazerskate. Less than 72 hours after the news reached team officials, the Phantoms contacted and signed Brian Doctor to another stint with the team. Brian Doctor will embark on his fourth straight season with the team and his sixth season dating back to 2002. The Hockey Doctor has been a benchmark on the Phantom Blueline, as this former Muskegon Chiefs star holds the Phantom All-Time record for most goals in a single game at 7. With Brian Doctor re-joining the team for its 18th overall season and first at the Lazerskate Sports Plex in Cedar Springs, the Phantoms again complete the roster with 10 skaters and a goaltender. Previously, the Phantoms announced the signings of NATE TYLER, TRENT KIK, TY COON, ANDY ROSART, MIKE SHAVER, BRAD ZEHR, MATT ZEHR, GORDIE ANDERSON, CASEY ROSENBURG and goaltender KEVIN WOOTTON.
