After all of the talk, the Phantoms are finally ready to back it up. For those that are familiar with hockey at Lazerskate it is entirely different than hockey at Rivertown. First off and most importantly, its cheaper. Rivertown is $1100 for 10 games. Lazerskate is $1000 for 14 games. Yes, 14 games! Also, Lazerskate is very clean and very professional. The arena features 4 locker rooms with showers and a large concession stand and hockey shop. A larger rink, creates more room for players to highlight their skill and a floor that is much smoother than Rivertown. The games at Lazerskate feature three 17-minute periods. Overtime is done in the great shoot-out mode. By the way, did I mention that Lazerskate keeps stats of every player and goaltender! Yes, Stats. Check with anyone and most will tell you they prefer Lazerskate the best. Its not that the Phantoms dislike Rivertown, but as a paying customer for four years we feel the deal is lots better at Lazerskate. Check it out.
