It is very rare to have nearly an entire team register points in a single game, however, for the Phantoms all but two members captured at least a single point on Sunday as the Phantoms trimmed WM Masonry by the final of 8-3.  Both teams would display a competitive brand of hockey against each other until the mid-mark of the second period when the Phantoms would ultimately turn on the jets and blast away.  Sean Wert (assists to Nate Tyler) and Gordie Anderson (assists to Casey Rosenberg) would tally markers for the Phantoms as the Yellow Shirts would exit the opening period in front of a 2-1 lead.  In the second, Chad Manning (Unassisted and Trent Kik (unassisted) would light the lamp for the Phantoms who increased their lead to 4-2 after two periods of play.  In the third, the Phantom offense would become hot and heavy, as Gordie Anderson (assisted by Matt Zehr), Brad Zehr (assisted by Matt Mead and Sean Wert), Jason Schemmel (assisted by Keith Moorman and Chad Manning) and Matt Zehr (assisted by Trent Kik and Kevin Wootton) would lead the Phantoms four-goal third-period assault against WM Masonry to capture the victory 8-3.  As mentioned, the Phantoms would receive points from all active members during the game, except for Tim Vanoverloop and Gene Smith.  The Phantoms completed the game with one minor penalty for two minutes, while WM Masonry was ticketed on two minors for four minutes.  The Phantoms will return to action on Sunday, February 26th at 10:40pm to square off against Pioneer.
