On Sunday, September 13th the Phantoms will not only begin their 26th season of Phantom Hockey, but the franchise will also celebrate the team's 7th birthday.  For now seven years, the yellow and black have continued to battle countless teams from around the region.  It was back on September 13, 2002 that the Phantoms began playing hockey as a team.  On that date, the Phantoms started their hockey career and despite suffering a 6-2 defeat against the Rage, the Phantoms would go on to grow and become a benchmark in the area's hockey scene.  No team in the area has played more in-line games than the Phantoms, no team has been around longer than the Phantoms and no team has been able to come close in terms of consecutive seasons played (26) than the Phantoms.  On Sunday, we as a team turn 7 years old.  Thanks to everyone who has allowed this great franchise to continue for so long.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHANTOMS!
