The numbers have been crunched and the final tallies for the Summer 2007 regular season are
available. Overall, the Phantoms conclude the Summer season with the same overall record asthe club did a season before at 7-3. On the scoring side, the Phantoms scored 64 goals this season, that is compared to 62 goals during the Spring 2007 run. On the defensive side, the team surrendered 55 goals this season, compared to 50 goals against one season ago. During both the Spring and Summer seasons, the Men of Phantom Nation completed the regular season in second place. The Phantoms strive on being a constant competitor season after season and based on these numbers the Phantoms have met the team's objectives for this season. On a personal stand-point, Casey Rosenberg led the Phantoms with 19 goals on the season, making the Muskegon stand-out the third highest scoring player in the league. Nate Tyler managed to overtake Casey and Trent in the home-stretch of the season to capture the team's prestigious "Nauty's Penalty Minute Leader" award with 23 minutes in the sin-bin. The Phantoms finished with four players scoring more than 10 goals this season (Gordie Anderson 11; Trent Kik 11; Scott VanDonkelaar 11; Casey Rosenberg 19), making it the club which features the most players on a single team scoring more than 10 goals. On the goaltending side, Kevin Wootton finishes the season with the second best GAA in the league at .832. Last season, the netminder posted an .847. Yet, the Phantoms surrendered 76 more shots on goal this season compared to last. The Phantoms as a club surrendered 345 shots on goal this season, making the Phantoms the highest in that category in both the Silver and Bronze leagues. Overall, the Phantoms were outshot during the regular season 345-305. On the penalty side, the Phantoms were ticketed for 44 penalties for 91 minutes, while the opponents were ticketed for 29 penalties for a mere 63 minutes.
