The West Michigan Phantoms have announced that 32 season veteran goaltender Kevin Wootton has been called up and added to the Andrie Inc. roster for the Winter 2011 season at Lakeshore Sports Centre in Muskegon.Wootton has been added as the emergency goaltender for Andrie Inc, which has dominated play in recent years and has captured the league title in the mNHL (Monday Night Hockey League) for the past four seasons.Wootton will join the team that is made up of a barrage of Mona Shores Alumni and West Michigan Phantom Alumni including Chris Benedict, Casey Rosenberg, Ryan Mylenek and former Mona Shores Varsity Coach Shawn Zimmerman and State Champion Varsity goaltender Ryan Royzcki.It feels great to be called up and be a part of another successful regional team that brings hockey to the next level and treats the franchise as a business to expect the most out of its players, said Wootton who was interviewed and introduced to local media Wednesday evening at an Andrie Inc. press event.Andrie Inc. has proven itself as a serious contender over the past few years and being able to play for this team with several members of the Phantom family is very rewarding, Wootton added.
