The West Michigan Phantoms continue to be undefeated in regulation this season, however, as a franchise, continue to have difficulty in overtime securing victories.  On Wednesday Night, the Phantoms watched a late third period 5-4 lead slip away off another bad-break for the Phantoms prolonging the contest into overtime.  Eight Men & A Little Lady was able to secure the game winning strike less than two minutes into the extra frame to complete the comeback and remain undefeated with a perfect 3-0 record through the season.  As for the Phantoms, the teams record falls to 1-0-0-2, which isnt all that bad since the Phantoms have secured four out of a possible six points on the season.  The Phantoms were lead by Kyle Clark with a pair of goals and Trent Kik, Brad Zehr and Matt Clark with singletons.  The Phantoms will return to action Wednesday, March 2^nd to tangle with the Storm.  In the first meeting of the season, the Phantoms suffered a 6-5 defeat in overtime against the Storm.
