Following a several year break from hockey, three time team champion Brian Doctor returns to the yellow and black for season 26. This 2001 grad of Mona Shores will return the #11 to the roster and the team is very pleased and excited to welcome back this original Phantom. This blueline native will bring the defensive unit to a new level and add a hard slapshot from the point to excel the offense. For nearly 23 seasons, Doctor held the Phantom record for scoring the most goals in a single game at seven. On June 8, 2008, that record was taken away from Doctor, as Chris Benedict netted eight goals against Howies to give the Phantoms a 12-11 victory. Doctor will return to the Phantoms, where he will play alongside former team-mates Trent Kik, Tim Czycyk and Kevin Wootton. The signing of this original Phantom brings to 11 the number of players the team has in place for the Winter 2009 season.
