Five weeks after the Phantom franchise turned five years old, the team announces that it will continue the tradition that has elapsed for the previous twenty seasons. On Sunday, November 4th, the West Michigan Phantoms will kick off their 21st consecutive season. Very few, if any, teams in the West Michigan area have been able to continue non-stop play for such a great period of time. Yet, with a very close and talented group of individuals, the Men of Phantom Nation continue to keep the dream and the fun alive. Not only is the team embarking on the 21st season in team history, but the team will embark on its fourth season at Lazerskate. Since October 15, 2006, the Phantoms have called Lazerskate Sports Plex home and the team is pleased to announce that the Phantoms have been apart of hockey in Cedar Springs for over a year. Currently, 10 full-time skaters, 1 goaltender and 2 subs are lined up and locked in for the start of the Fall 2007 season. The Phantoms will begin to announce the signing of the four newest players starting on October 25th. The team's schedule will be announced around October 31st. Again, the team's kicked-off to season #21 will take place on Sunday, November 4th.
