After wearing the Phantom jersey for 17 seasons, the Phantoms are set to give a very deserving member of the Phantom Family a piece of team history. Matt Zehr, one of the longest serving members of the team, will be presented with the Phantom 2006 Winter Championship Trophy on Friday. The Trophy was handed to the Phantoms on Sunday Night and on Friday, the trophy will be handed to Matt as the team continues the team's strong tradition. Rick Zehr, father of two Phantom players, said the following about the event, "Matt is ready to accept the honor. He has waited so long for this moment that waiting until Friday will be unbearable. His desk at Dyna-Con has been awaiting the trophy for several weeks. Good Job Son and Best of Luck this Season."
