The West Michigan Phantoms are pleased to announce the 13th individual to be named to the Ambassador to Phantom Hockey Program.  This Hall of Fame for Phantom Hockey was launched two years ago in an effort to honor an individuals positive benefit to the team.  As a recreational team, this program is not based on stats, but rather based on those who have made a strong commitment to keep the rich tradition of Phantom Hockey alive and who have went above and beyond the course of an average player.  Kyle Clark becomes the 13th member in the now 10+ Year history of the Phantoms to be added to this elite club.  Clark, who was informed of this achievement in a special Shot Ceremony in Rockford, IL. on Saturday, October 20th, has been a Phantom member for several years and has seen action with the team at Walker Ice & Fitness Center, Rivertown Sports and Cedar Rock Sports Plex.  Kyle Clark became involved with Phantom Hockey during the now-defunct Good Ole Boy team at Rivertown Sports, which captured three championships in roughly a year.  Clark was instrumental in the successful launch of the Phantoms transition to Ice in 2011 and has been a member of the team that has been very helpful in providing ideas and offering advise based on the best-course-for-longevity for the team.  Clarks playing ability as a two-way player greatly helps the offensive and defensive ability of the Phantoms and brings a calming and humorous atmosphere into the locker room.  I have played with Kyle for years and on several different teams and he is a player who I look up to to provide insight and guidance in tough times, said Phantom General Manager Kevin Wootton.  He is a fun player to watch and play behind and isnt too bad at making jokes either (despite most being directed towards me), Wootton added.  Clark, who currently splits his time between the Phantoms and Gong Show Hockey, is also well acknowledged and liked by his Phantom teammates and friends.  Kyle brings consistency to our lineup, said Trent Kik.  He is a rarity in that he can play offense or defense and still play at a high level, it is a pleasure to play with him rather than against him, Kik Added.  Congratulations to Kyle Clark for being named into the teams Ambassador to Phantom Hockey program and thank you for all of your commitment to Phantom Hockey.
